How long does it take to complete the consultation process?

The consultation form should take no longer than 10-15 minutes to complete but clients should be prepared to answer some very specific and detailed questions. The information provided is strictly confidential and will only be used for the purposes of finding the best and most suitable items.

Do I have to complete the consultation form every time I sign up for services?

No, you only need to complete the consultation form once unless there are changes to sizes, needs, etc..

How do I sign up for services?

Select sign up for services under services in the website menu. Refer to the how does it work? section under services for more information. 

How much are the services?

$75 ($50 worth of merchandise + $25 service fee)

$80 ($50 worth of merchandise + $25 service fee + $5 delivery fee)

$150 ($100 worth of merchandise + $50 service fee)

$155 ($100 worth of merchandise + $50 service fee + $5 delivery fee)

How much apparel/accessories will I receive?

It depends on the package selected as well as the inventory and options available. For example, clients who select the $75 service may receive between 10-20 pieces pending on availability, pricing, item type (accessories, apparel), quantity of each type of item, brand, etc. PoP Thrift aims to obtain as much quality and quantity as possible given the budget selected by the client.

What if something doesn't fit; I don't like it or the item is damaged?

Clients must check all items within 24 hours of receipt for damage, wear, fit and satisfaction. Occasionally, there may be small defects that are unnoticeable.

Will items be cleaned prior to receipt?

No, clients are expected to wash, clean and/or dry clean their own items. However, recommendations will be provided.

How long does it take for me to receive my items?

Clients must allow their personal shopper 2-4 weeks to complete their order. Unfortunately, inventory and options can't be predicted or determined so clients must allow the personal shopper to have ample time to select the best items. If the order is not fully completed within the 4 week window, clients may opt to receive a refund for the remaining balance or allow the personal shopper to continue shopping.

How will I receive my items?

You can pick up your items (no fee) from uptown Charlotte during the weekday (Monday - Friday) or from East Charlotte (Matthews/Mint Hill area) evenings and weekends. If you selected a service that includes delivery, your items will be delivered to you. Your personal shopper will work with you to coordinate.

Do you serve clients outside of the Charlotte metro area?

Unfortunately, no, given the logistics and quick turnaround needed to deliver and return items.
